As they return home after splitting games in Golden State, here are three adjustments that the Oklahoma City Thunder must make before Game 3

With three-after-three and a thrashing of the Warriors defense, Russell Westbrook has single-handedly redefined the athletic point guard role. With a superstar sidekick, Kevin Durant also has the ability to into a Hulk takeover mode.

Or, if you’re more of a DC guy, these two combine to be Batman and Robin while they continue to get no help from Gotham.

Oklahoma City needs to win this series. Kevin Durant will hit free agency and the likelihood of him leaving this summer will only grow if this season doesn’t end with a Finals berth.

Thus, the importance of Game 3 in the outcome of the series can not be stressed enough. As the Thunder return to Oklahoma City, they will need another superb showcase from their two MVP-caliber players.

The Thunder have shown us glimpses of what can be done this postseason. They beat the Spurs, and it did not even take them 7 games to do so. IMPRESSIVE. Next is Game 3.

All they have to do is win out at home, and they will win this series – easier said than done, though.

Despite splitting the first two games of this series, the Oklahoma City Thunder have yet to hit their stride in this series. In order to take the first step in doing so, here are several adjustments that need to be made ahead of Game 3.
