Boston Celtics: Own Picks No. 3, 16 and 23
The NBA Draft day will make the future of the Celtics come to life. They already have young talent such as R.J. Hunter, Terry Rozier, James Young, and Marcus Smart.

A possible trade that the Celtics could make on draft night would look like this:
- Boston acquires: Jahlil Okafor, Robert Covington and the 24th pick in the draft
- Philadelphia acquires: 3rd overall pick and Amir Johnson
Here is my thinking. With the third pick, Boston is projected to acquire Dragan Bender who is unproven. Why would they not want someone proven if they want a championship run? Boston needs to make a move now. They have the scoring with Isaiah Thomas, and now with a trade such as this one they have a dominate big man.
Philadelphia would be down for this trade because they will most likely get Ben Simmons. Also, they are obviously bought into Joel Embiid since they have waited for him so long. On top of this, they can draft Jamal Murray or Kris Dunn to add backcourt depth which is badly needed.
Altogether, Boston gets help and scoring, and Philadelphia gets backcourt depth with their pick and a veteran big to coach their young talent.
Boston needs to win now, and Philadelphia could desperately use another top 3 pick.
