21 – Eric Gordon, New Orleans Pelican – 6’4″ Guard

Eric Gordon is a scorer at heart. While he might have only averaged 2.2 RPG and 2.7 APG this past season, he had 15.2 PPG which was an improvement from the last season of only 13.4 PPG. Gordon has shown signs of a very high upside throughout his career, despite his injury issues.

The guard is entering his seventh season in the NBA and his sixth with the team. I see it very likely that the Pelicans try and re-sign him to the best of their ability, but he is just a mediocre player set to make mediocre money.

The Pelicans have the sixth pick in the 2016 draft and are shown by experts to get either Buddy Hield from Oklahoma or Kris Dunn from Providence, both big name guards who have the potential to put Gordon out of a starting job.
