Phoenix Suns- No. 13 pick: Devin Booker

Redraft: Mario Hezonja

The Suns turmoil of a season was highlighted by one bright spot, and Devin Booker was that spot. With the number 13 pick the Suns which wanted a backup to Eric Bledsoe, needed a scoring shooting guard.

Mario Hezonja only saw nine games of 30+ minutes in his rookie season with Orlando, but the potential is still there and untapped. Hezonja was drafted after the expiration of his contract with the Spainish team F.C. Barcelona.

In Phoenix, we could see Mario finally be able to unlock that potential with his incredible mixture of arial attacks and menacing drives to the bucket, and hopefully with the signing of Frank Vogel in Orlando, we will see this from Mario.

The Phoenix Suns second unit could have used this spark, which was eventually given to them by Devin Booker. Hopefully, in the following years, Hezonja will be given the opportunity to unleash his potential.
