Indiana Pacers- No. 11 Pick: Myles Turner

Redraft: Stanley Johnson

The NBA is changing. The traditional aspect of pounding the ball and wearing out the other team is over. The NBA is now a small ball, three-point shooting league.

Stanley Johnson would have been the absolute perfect pick for the Pacers to play small ball. The floor spaced as he would take over at the three and shove Paul George to the four. George Hill, Monta Ellis, Johnson, George, and Ian Mahinimi – this is the lineup that could excel if Johnson could have fallen to the Pacers at the 11th pick.

This would have been one of the most deadly lineups as they would have been able to keep a shot blocker on the court and four other shooters.

Johnson this year had his ups and downs throughout the season; altogether, he put up a rather disappointing season, but did show potential. In his 23 minutes per game, he averaged on 8.1 points on less than 40 percent shooting from the field. The explosive wing from Arizona was drafted as a highly-coveted prospect.

He will have to improve next year for the Pistons to show them that the risk was worth the reward.
