Charlotte Hornets- No. 9 pick: Frank Kaminsky

Redraft: Willie Cauley-Stein

Cauley-Stein waited until his junior year at Kentucky before entering the NBA Draft.

Charlotte needed a big like this. Al Jefferson is a powerful big, but the problem is he does not provide much defense. WCS does that emphatically. Cauley-Stein in Charlotte would give them the ability to play Jefferson without the fear of being tormented on the defensive side.

Cauley-Stein averaged 7.0 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, and 1.0 blocks per game while playing less than 24 minutes a game.

With Kemba Walker as the future of the organization, if they added Cauley-Stein to secure them defensively, the Hornets would have looked much more confident defensively.

Frank Kaminsky was a good add for the Hornets because he helped them spread the floor and let Jefferson go to work. The only problem was their defensive woes this season.
