Priority: Hitting Big In Free Agency

The Mavericks took one game from the Thunder in the first round of the playoffs, but now they are sitting at home deciding what they need to do for next year.

Ultimately, the once-feared Mavericks are now out of the top five in the West. With one mid-second round pick, the draft is ultimately not a prime target for the organization to rebuild.

Free agency though is. Chandler ParsonsDeron Williams, and Zaza Pachulia are all unrestricted free agents who may find a new home this offseason. The Mavericks goal is to make them come back.

How? Who knows.

Maybe Mark Cuban can get them to stay by putting them on Shark Tank or something, but your guess is as good as mine. Dirk is actually also a free agent, but I assume he just re-signs with them.

If this is a team that struggles in free agency, they could find themselves out of the playoff run and looking for a lottery pick next season.

Re-sign all their players and grow Justin Anderson and Dwight Powell, and the Mavericks could look primed for another playoff push next season.
