Utah Jazz

Priority: Adding Backcourt Depth

I am a big time fan of this Jazz team. Only free agent on this team is Trevor Booker; so, we will see basically the same team next year, plus more.

Rudy GobertTrey Lyles, and Derrick Favors lock down the paint; Hayward provides the scoring; and Dante Exum and Rodney Hood will operate the backcourt. The backcourt is what needs some help this offseason and should be their main target.

Mike Conley is a great fit for this team, but he will most likely be maxed out by Memphis. Another tier down point guards include Brandon Jennings and Deron Williams, which could be potential targets for Utah.

Evan Fournier could also be a good pickup if Orlando would not match Utah’s offer since Orlando has three quality shooting guards.

If not this, Utah has the 11th overall pick in this year’s draft , and they should draft a point guard or shooting guard with his pick.

The shock of the entire draft could be if the Jazz pick Thon Maker, who they worked out and seem to like. Both free agency and the Draft will be venues to which the Jazz can improve.
