Los Angeles Lakers

Priority: Their No. 2 Overall Draft Pick

With the retirement of long-time Laker superstar Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles, who have the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft, will have multiple avenues of improving their organization this summer.

DeMar DeRozan is a name that stands out for the Lakers, and strong wishful thinkers hope for Kevin Durant to make his trip to LA, too.

However, the top focus for the Lakers this summer should be the draft. With the No. 2 pick, assuming the 76ers will take Simmons, the Lakers should be in position to draft small forward Brandon Ingram from Duke.

Perhaps, the perfect scenario for the Lakers is to sign DeRozan and draft Ingram, and then they can just watch their talent-packed, young team led by D’Angelo RussellJordan Clarkson, and Julius Randle excel in the future.

Bismack Biyombo is also an option for them since they lack inside size with Roy Hibbert becoming an unrestricted free agent.
