NBA Rumors: Now that the NBA season is practically over, we go back and re-rank Kevin Durant‘s potential landing spots

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors may still be duking it out on the NBA’s brightest stage, but there are still plenty of other storylines across the rest of the league.

Including the huge decision that awaits Kevin Durant this summer, especially in early July. While he’s expected to opt out of the final year of his contract, no one really knows what he plans on doing when he tests free agency next month. He may not even know yet.

He’s going to be a wanted man, too. Question is, will he decide to really play the free agency game this summer, or will he quietly re-sign – short or long term – with the Oklahoma City Thunder?

The expectation is that he will take the free agent tour that all the big names have been known to take – see LeBron James in 2010 and LaMarcus Aldridge last summer.

In the end, where will he sign? That’s the million dollar question. Or, in Durant’s case, the 100 million dollar question.

We re-ranked his possible destinations now that the NBA playoffs are practically over with.
