8. New York Knicks

If Kevin Durant is really looking for a big market, but isn’t quite interested in joining such a young team (like the Los Angeles Lakers), the New York Knicks could be an appealing spot for the perennial superstar.

He would join Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis in the Big Apple and would almost automatically make the Knicks a contender, especially in the Eastern Conference. Of course, in order for Durant to truly consider the Knicks as a true landing spot – you’d think – they probably have to sign a point guard first. Perhaps Mike Conley?

Then again, if the Knicks were to pull off that type of signing initially they probably wouldn’t be able to pull off getting Kevin Durant.
