NBA Mock Draft 2016: 76ers, Lakers Get Their Guy; Suns Reaching?

13. Phoenix Suns

Pick: Deyonta Davis, F, Michigan State 

With their second first-round pick, expect the Phoenix Suns to go big again with the 13th pick. I fully expect to take a player like Davis, who is a raw, defensive-first player that has the potential to be a solid player at the next level.

I’m not sure if he’ll every be a complete star player in the NBA, but Davis has all the tools to be a defensive force on second unit, or start beside an explosive offensive big. Phoenix taking a stab in the dark isn’t the worst potential move here.

Though, if a trade is available at this point in the draft, look for Phoenix to explore that possibility.
