Memphis Grizzlies

You are about to witness a 4-team trade (Not actually, but boy would this be something).

BOS gets: Marc Gasol

BKN gets: Amir Johnson

MEM gets: Jonas JerebkoPaul Millsap

ATL gets: Thaddeus Young, Z-Bo

Forget draft picks for a minute. Forget the fact that this makes little sense for Brooklyn, and just appreciate the chaos that would ensue.

Boston gets their rim protector and scoring-alleviator for IT.

BKN gets an instant fanbase favorite and someone to help sell tickets. Every team would have to send a draft pick to Brooklyn, Boston especially; but that the multiple draft picks may help convince Sean Marks to make the deal.

Memphis doesn’t have a lot of trade assets, but with Mike Conley potentially leaving this offseason, they need to just start over. The ‘Grind’ part of ‘Grit-n-Grind’ is over. Now the Grizzlies need to ‘Grit’ their teeth and hope they find success in the draft/free agency. Human Swiss-army knife Paul Millsap helps bring in a new era of Grizzlies basketball, and Jerebko is a poor man’s Millsap that helps add a scoring punch to their bench unit.

ATLaaaast. With Al Horford most likely departing in the offseason and Paul Millsap now gone, they trade for two veteran stopgaps in Z-Bo and Thaddeus Young to be their front court for the time being. Maybe they go super-big and start Young, Splitter, and Z-Bo. Who knows? Budenholzer is an offensive genius.

Go nuts, reader.
