18. Detroit Pistons: Tyler Ulis
The Detroit Pistons are a young team on the up and up in the league. They don’t really have any glaring weaknesses, and finding upgrades over their current starters at any position would be next to impossible this late in the draft.
Where they could stand to bolster their rotations, is a viable floor leader off the bench. While many see Wade Baldwin IV as the overall better player, what separates Tyler Ulis is his leadership and effort. He’s the kind of bench spark that could propel a team like Detroit to the next level.
Reggie Jackson stated his claim this season as a worthy starter for Stan Van Gundy, so a backup like Tyler Ulis will be a welcomed change of pace off the bench.
