19. Denver Nuggets: Brice Johnson

Clearly the Denver Nuggets have done their job to properly set up the rebuild, as this is now their third pick of the first round. To recap, I have them taking Buddy Hield at 6 and Timothe Luwawu at 15. So with a guard and forward already Colorado-bound, it’s about time they continue to spread the love by taking a big man.

Brice Johnson isn’t a name that’s going to turn heads at number 20, but as UNC fans know he is a consistent contributor who works offensively to take high percentage shots. He has good size for a low post player, and is able to play even larger to superior athleticism and footwork.

When he is able to add a bit more weight he’ll be able to improve even further in the post, as well as become a more reliable defensive presence in the paint.
