NBA Mock Draft 2016: The Boston Celtics Hold Control At No. 3

27. Toronto Raptors: Cheick Diallo

The Toronto Raptors have yet another crack at a player to develop in this draft. It’s a great chance for them to expand their bench immediately, and even potentially come away with an above average starter down the road.

At this point you pick a player who might be able to contribute eventually, and Cheick Diallo appears to have the best upside of players still available. He was once considered a 5-star recruit heading into college only a year ago. He had some issues with the NCAA, and never truly got back on track at the college level.

His high school hype is still enough to make him a draftee, so he essentially gets a free pass to try his luck again.
