28. Phoenix Suns: Stephen Zimmerman

The Suns addressed a need at the wing very early in this draft, and followed it up by bringing in a potential front court starter for this season. So with their final pick of the first round (wish my Nets were in this predicament…like ever) they could go in any number of directions to improve their bench.

Stephen Zimmerman is a front court player who had a major impact on UNLV’s season, and this late in the draft he’s the type of talent the Suns feel they could mold into a great piece for their bench.

He can do a number of things well, and his size and athleticism are among his strongest attributes.
