13. Sacramento Kings (via Phoenix)

Pick: Georgios Papagiannis, C, Greece

Wait, what??

Yup. With the 13th pick, the Sacramento Kings (via Phoenix) select Georgics Papagiannis from Greece. Papagiannis is a 7-foot-2 freak of nature that was really not expected to be taken this early in the draft. But, as they say, if you like a guy go get him.

Papagiannis is a low post scorer that could also drift out of the paint too. He’s an above average shot blocker and is quite the physical presence. He’s probably a draft and stash type of prospect, but he could pay dividends in the future.

The Kings simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity to KANZ the draft up.
