22. Sacramento Kings (via Charlotte Hornets)

Pick: Malachi Richardson, G, Syracuse 

The Sacramento Kings, among other things, needed shooting. It was one of their biggest needs coming into the offseason. That’s what they addressed with the 22nd pick in the way of Malachi Richardson.

Richardson is a good perimeter shooter and has potential to improve on both sides of the ball as a 6-foot-6 guard. He has great size and instincts for the game.

He’s not a prospect that is garnering praise from all angles, but he’s a player that could potentially blossom into a star in the NBA. He’s a name that should be kept an eye on.
