3. Boston Celtics

Pick: Jaylen Brown, F, California

Despite numerous trade rumors, the Boston Celtics ended up picking (for now). The Celtics could still end up moving this pick, but for now Jaylen Brown is a solid addition for Boston. He’s an athletic freak and has all the tools to be a great defensive player.

Question is, will he develop his jump shot enough in order to transform into the star that many expect him to become? Perhaps that’s the biggest reason why he’s being taken at 3 and not in the top 2.

Either way, his ceiling is high enough where this is a solid roll of the dice for the Celtics. Even though Boston has a plethora of wings on their roster, they can make Brown work.
