8. Phoenix Suns (via Sacramento)

Pick: Marquese Chriss, F, Washington

Perhaps the man with the highest ceiling in this draft goes to Sacramento. Then, to Phoenix as the two teams agreed to a deal. In other words, the Kings drafted Chriss but he’ll ultimately end up in Phoenix when the trade can be official.

The Suns now have successfully drafted both Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss. They can’t miss on both of them, right?

Interestingly, these two prospects are portably a couple of the more hit or miss players. Either way, with Chriss’ through the roof potential, this will be worth it.

Chriss is a little rough around the edges and is definitely raw, but he’s shown flashes of potential with his ability to take his opponent off the dribble and his defensive prowess.

The future can be very bright for Phoenix in a few years.
