Houston Rockets

Draft Picks: Chinanu Onuaku No. 37, Zhou QI No. 43

The Rockets are going through a minor retooling with new coach Mike D’Antoni and the expected departure of Dwight Howard.

Free Agency has always been Houston’s focus during the offseason, where they always look to make a splash. With only 2nd round picks in this year’s NBA Draft, the Rockets selected a couple projects.

Onuaku is still developing his game while Zhou Qi “Joe Chee” will be a special project with a very high ceiling – he’s one of those draft and stash players. The last Chinese selection the Rockets had (Yao Ming) worked out rather well, so hopes remain high
