Los Angeles Clippers

Draft Picks: Brice Johnson No. 25, David Michineau No. 39, Diamond Stone No. 40

The Clippers promising season was derailed by injuries and resulted in an early 1st round exit. CP3, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan still the main 3 in Lob City, Paul Pierce is aging (and may elect to retire) and Griffin’s future with the team is always in question.

They selected Brice Johnson in the first round, an elite athlete who can rebound, block shots and put the ball in the hoop; don’t be surprised if he makes his way into the team’s rotation fairly soon.

Michineau will be stashed away and his NBA future is TBD, while Stone will need some D-League time to develop as a player along with his maturity and focus. His size alone is appealing enough.

The Former Tar Heel, Johnson, saves this draft with the Clips

Grade: B-

Next: Los Angeles Lakers
