New Orleans Pelicans

Draft Picks: Buddy Hield No. 6, Cheick Diallo No. 33

The Pelicans were devasted by injuries last year and the year before that and the year before that. More than anything, they followed up a season in which they finally broke through to the playoffs with a disappointing season.

Their consolation prize was a D-League roster for the last half of the season while obtaining the No. 6 pick, which turned into Buddy Hield.

Hield has NBA range; he will be an NBA scorer. Eric Gordon is a free agent for ‘Nawlins and Hield could slide right into that shooting guard hole. Hield teaming with The Brow is a nice tandem.

Cheick Dillao could be a nice assest in few years. Raw when it comes to basketball fundamentals, but he improved vastly as the season went on and he has a knack for rebounding and blocking shots.
