Denver Nuggets

Draft Picks: Jamal Murray No. 7, Juan Hernangomez No. 15, Malik Beasley No. 19, Petr Cornelie No. 53

I LOVE the Nuggets draft. A team that needed scorers – three-point shooting specifically – grabbed Murray, a prolific scorer who can play both guard positions.

Murray will make an immediate impact and will make a run at rookie of the year. Hernangomez is an NBA ready player who can give energy and scoring off the bench. He’s that pesky, has a high motor that every opponent will hate, but basketball fans will love.

Beasley will come off the bench, bring scoring and some defense. Cornelie is a project and only time will tell if he makes an NBA impact. Three solid picks who I believe will make an impact immediately gives the Nuggets some hope for the future and one of my favorite drafts.
