2015-16 Stats: 23.9 minutes, 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.4 blocks

It is absolutely unbelievable that Miami found Hassan Whiteside and helped him develop into the dominant player he now is.

It’s just unfair to the NBA that they found Tyler Johnson too.

The lesser known of the two Floridian diamonds in the rough, Johnson has come a long way since going undrafted in 2014. When healthy, the explosive guard has perplexed audiences with his ferocious dunks and mean crossovers (just ask Marcelo Huertas).

In fact, his bench production this season was so great that he might have just cost Miami more than they are willing to spend after locking up Whiteside and still needing to re-sign Dwyane Wade and pursuing Durant.

Johnson will find a home somewhere – it’s just not going to be with the Heat unless he takes a contract well below his market value
