After a landscape-changing NBA Free Agency period, we try to sort it all out by predicting the 2016-17 Eastern Conference playoff field

During this year’s NBA offseason, we’ve already seen a flurry of moves – both big and small – that will have surely have repercussions in how the 2016-17 season will play out.

From Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose moving to New York to Dwyane Wade deciding to play for his hometown Chicago Bulls, the Eastern Conference specifically has seen quite the shakeup in hierarchy.

Don’t get it twist, the Cleveland Cavaliers are still the cream of the crop in the East, but there are a number of other teams gunning for their crown. After noting all the moves that have taken place over the last few weeks in free agency, we take our hand at trying to predict how the Eastern Conference playoff picture will shake out this upcoming season.
