8. Utah Jazz

Projected Starting Five: George Hill, Gordon Hayward, Joe Johnson, Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert

The Utah Jazz lacked one big aspect on their roster last season: experience. This summer, that’s exactly what they addressed as they brought in George Hill and Joe Johnson – two veterans that will also start for them.

In addition to those two proven vets, the Jazz feature one of the NBA’s youngest stars in Gordon Hayward. Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert, who round out their frontcourt, is also second to none.

While the Jazz continue to develop, they’ve made the necessary adjustments to legitimately compete for a playoff spot this season. And it all begins with this much improved starting lineup.
