Projected Starting Five: D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, Timofey Mozgov

The Los Angeles Lakers will have one of the best young starting lineups in the NBA. Starting with their point guard, D’Angelo Russell could really hit his stride this season. Jordan Clarkson, who was signed at a discount this summer, is also one of the most intriguing young shooting guards in the NBA.

The real question for the Lakers will be at the small forward position. Will LA elect to start Luol Deng or Brandon Ingram? I lean Ingram, for now.

Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov round out this team’s frontcourt. Man, if only the team had signed Festus Ezeli instead of Mozgov…
