NBA Player Rankings: Top 10 Small Forwards In The NBA Entering 2016-17
2. Kevin Durant – Golden State Warriors
2015-16 Stats: 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 50.5% field goals
When Kevin Durant made the decision to join the Golden State Warriors, it was a move that gave him the best opportunity to win an NBA Championship.
Durant is one of the top three players in the world and he is coming off his best season statistically. He is one of the best scorers in the NBA and at 6-foot-9, he is a deadly shooter from behind the arc.
With Durant joining the Warriors, he may not have to score as many points as he did for the Oklahoma City Thunder. While playing in Rio, Durant’s defense has improved and when he is locked in on that end of the floor, he can take any team to another level.
In the playoffs, Durant averaged 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and one steal while shooting 43 percent from the field before the Thunder were eliminated by the Warriors in seven games.
