5. Carmelo Anthony – New York Knicks

2015-16 Stats: 21.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.9 steals, 43.4% field goals

Carmelo Anthony is arguably the greatest Olympic basketball player in the history of the United States. As far as small forwards in the NBA right now, he falls right in the middle at No. 5.

Anthony is still a great scorer who can create matchup issues when faced with other forwards. The New York Knicks have a new-look to their team after adding the likes of Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Courtney Lee and Brandon Jennings.

Having other players that can take the pressure off of Anthony will allow him to experience the same type of opportunities that he gets while playing for Team USA. Expect a bounce back season from Melo in 2016-17.
