With some insane contracts being given out this offseason, we look at six NBA free agents that took less money to sign in a better opportunity

With the huge contracts being given out this NBA offseason, getting players to take take less money and sign for less than their allotted value has become harder.

NBA players want to maximize their value, which is fair. You should only get what you believe you’re worth.

So, with the new TV deals players have decided their value was even higher in the 2016 market, resulting in some insane contract signings (Im looking at you, Mike Conley).

Yet, there still has been a fair share of underpaid free-agent acquisitions. For whatever the reason may be, here are six players that decided to take less than what they’re worth.
