Dion Waiters, Miami Heat

Contract: Two-year, $6M

With the departure of Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat have a void to fill at the two guard position.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

It seemed like year-after-year Wade would drop 20 points per game without people even batting an eye, because it became the norm.

Now, as the future Hall of Famer takes his talents back home to the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat look to Tyler Johnson and Dion Waiters as two guys who must step up in the absence of their franchise leading scorer.

Johnson will most likely start with Waiters coming off the bench, running the second unit.

On essentially a one-year deal, the Heat signed Dion Waiters to a $2.9 million dollar contract ($6M over two years). Now, the guy who was compared to Wade when he was drafted is going to be trying to fill Wade’s shoes.
