It takes a whole team to win an NBA championship, just ask LeBron. What are some of the most ridiculous, video game numbers ever put up by an individual in a season, though?

Let’s set the ground layer first. You didn’t have to have won the NBA MVP to qualify for this list. You didn’t have to have won the NBA Finals either, and in what era played in isn’t taken into account as it is not a direct comparison.

Because some of these seasons took place before the evolution of advanced statistics, we will just be taking a look at your everyday basic counting stats. 

Before we jump in, though, here is a general stat key:

  • PPG: Points Per Game
  • APG: Assists Per Game
  • RPG: Rebounds Per Game
  • SPG: Steals Per Game
  • BPG: Blocks Per Game
  • WS: Win Shares 

Also, You can only make the list once, otherwise all five spots would be filled by Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan, of course.
