DeMar DeRozan may not be the most efficient shooting guard in the NBA, but he is effective. And that’s why he’s No. 3 on this list. Averaging a career-high 24 points per game this past season, DeRozan was a huge part of his team’s success.

The Toronto Raptors made the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history and came two wins away from the NBA Finals.

Despite his struggles in the playoffs, DeRozan willed his way to pushing the Cleveland Cavaliers to six games. Even though his 34 percent from three-point range isn’t on par with some of the other players on this list, the fact that it was a career-high number is a good sign. At 27, we may not have even seen the best DeMar DeRozan yet.

Next: No. 2
