Projected Starting Frontcourt: Rudy GayWillie Cauley-SteinDeMarcus Cousins

The mess of the NBA continues to be a circus with giant question marks. It’s possible Rudy Gay won’t be on the team even by the time this article comes out. Gay has scoring ability, but often times goes rogue on possessions and does his own things.

Cauley-Stein had some decent success towards the end of last season when he received playing time, but his offensive skills need to develop in order to be any sort of successful NBA player.  It’s almost like they are playing 4 on 5 basketball when Kings have possession.

Poor Boogie. Poor, poor Boogie. Cousins is the latest of great player on a bad team. He’s a double-double machine and the offense runs entirely through him. He fills the stat sheet and his 23.6 PER was top 10 in the NBA last season. Until the Kings start winning games with or without Boogie Cousins, they will remain lower in the rankings.
