9. Dallas Mavericks

Projected Starting Frontcourt: Harrison Barnes, Dirk Nowitzki, Andrew Bogut

Sure Barnes and Bogut were considered the weak links of the Warriors and eventually were pushed out by that Kevin Durant guy, but both are solid role players.

Barnes plays good wing defense and can knock down the long ball fairly well. Bogut is such an underrated player in my opinion. No, he isn’t flashy like other No. 1 overall picks, but he has immense defensive talents and moves the ball very well as a big man.

Nowitiski, at age 38, still looks like he has a couple years left in the tank. He’s still a clutch shooter, shooting nearly 37 percent from 3 last season. The Mavericks have a new look, but will still remain in the running for a playoff spot in the West.
