29. Los Angeles Lakers

Projected Starting Frontcourt: Brandon IngramJulius RandleTimofey Mozgov

Easy Laker fans, I know it’s tough to see the them low on easy rankings list but it’s a process and it takes time. Luol Deng might be the starter at the beginning of the year, but I’m going to say Ingram gets thrown in sooner than later with a lot of minutes.

Ingram will score, but the physicality of the league might be a tough lesson at first and he might not be able to get to the rim at ease.

Julius Randle had an atrocious -3.6 BPM (Box Plus/Minus) and is still finding his way on the defensive end. The insane contract of Mozgov guarantees they see him as the team’s starting center. Mozgov, at 7-foot-1, needs to improve on his career average of five rebounds per game, though, and the quick big men of the NBA are going to expose Mozgov rather quickly.

It’ll come Laker fans, just not yet.
