Projected Starting Frontcourt: Dante CunninghamAnthony DavisOmer Asik

Anthony Davis is an absolute stud, and will probably contend for MVP awards for years to come. His mates next to him, not so much.  Cunningham might not be the starter (Pondexter or maybe they move Evans to the 3 spot), but if he does his lack of spacing and less than 30 percent clip from 3-point range is a major problem for a position that requires success in that area.

His less than 9 PER is beyond terrible. Asik fits in the Pelicans system about as much as ice cream and mustard. His PER is well below league average while his offensive ability is non-existent. The Brow’s superstar ability at least keeps them out of the bottom 5.
