Orlando Magic

2015-16 Record: 35-47, Missed Playoffs

Once again, while not a team that was in the original bunch, it would be wise to check in on Orlando. The Magic appear to once again be hitting the reset button, doubling down on the post.

They’ve traded Victor Oladipo to the Thunder in exchange for Serge Ibaka, and then also added Bismack Biyombo to an already crowded frontcourt.

There’s talent everywhere though, but seeing this team gel early would be a far stretch. The Magic are toying with new pieces right now, and I think them competing may be a little while away. Not to mention that they’ll also have to work their way to incorporating Frank Vogel’s system. It could take a while for the Magic to click.
