As NBA preseason begins, we predict and breakdown every team’s breakout player for the 2016-2017 season

NBA basketball is right around the corner and, with that being said, it’s time to project each NBA team as the preseason games get underway.

On that same note, predicting the next slate of breakout players for each team.

When selecting each team’s “breakout players”, we’re looking at players who have already made some headway in their careers, but are going to take it to the next level this season.

These guys are out to prove to their GM’s, and other teams GM’s, that they are worth a hefty contract in the next few years.

A few examples of “breakout” players over the last few seasons include C.J. McCollum, Hassan Whiteside and Kawhi Leonard. Who will the next slate feature? We explore.
