The 2016-17 NBA season is finally here. In honor of the season opening, we open the year with an Eastern Conference Roundtable

The wait is over. The 2016-17 NBA regular season is finally upon us.

The Cleveland Cavaliers raise their NBA Championship banner tonight (against the new-look New York Knicks), and the Golden State Warriors begin their journey to the top of the league (against the San Antonio Spurs), once again. Though, with a bit of a facelift – and reinforcements.

And that’s just the first night of the season.

In the East, the Miami Heat are rebuilding, the Chicago Bulls (hopefully) are rebuilt and the Boston Celtics appear prime for a run at knocking off LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

How will the East shake out this season? We explore that and more in our Eastern Conference Roundtable.
