Is The NBA Not Basketball Anymore?

Steph Curry.
The rich get richer, huh? That’s what was the common response to the news that KD had signed with the frequent fliers to the Finals Golden State Warriors to the tune of a 2-yr (really 1 yr.) $54.3 million dollar contract.
The Warriors already housed the (back-to-back) reigning, unanimous MVP Steph Curry, his supernova shooting backcourt partner Klay Thompson, and triple-double threat Draymond Green. By adding KD, it was a surefire bet the Warriors would march back to the Finals and knock LeBron James and the Cavs out to get revenge for their 3-1 blown lead in the Finals this year. I don’t think that’s going to be the matchup at all….. I think the Finals is between two new teams.
You can hold me to that. Screenshot it. @ me. I just don’t think it’s a rematch like previous years (San Antonio and Miami, Golden State and Cleveland). I think the Clippers make a deep run, and so do the Hornets. Maybe not to the Finals, but quite possibly the Conference Finals. Alas, I digress.
Steph Curry is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Arguably already the best shooter, and his career isn’t even over. Now, he’s paired with one of the most prolific scorers of our generation in KD.
WAKE UP PEOPLE! You may not like super teams, but they’re darn fun to watch when they click, and when they click, they’re on. (See 149-106 demolition of the Lakers a few nights ago for reference).
But that’s not all….
