It’s Competitive

As of right now, the NBA conference standings are tight.

In the East, two teams are out of first place by only 3.5 games. Another three are out of first by 4, and the last two are separated by 5 and 5.5.

In the West, the top 3 teams in the West all have at least 14 wins and are separated by a game and a half. The battle for the more elusive 8th seed is separated by really only about 3-4 games for all teams minus the Mavericks.

The playoff race is going to be tighter than it’s been in recent years, and that’s exciting.
