Is The NBA Not Basketball Anymore?

There Are Teams You Can Get Behind
The Heat were the villains, and the Warriors are now – all because they formed a super team. While some would argue that they’re bad for the NBA, I’d argue they’re the best thing for the league for one reason: no one wants to let them win.
Even if a team just narrowly lost to the team representing their conference in the Finals, you know they’re rooting for the opposite Conference team. (In other words, you’re lying to yourself if you think Russell Westbrook wasn’t screaming and jumping off his couch once LeBron brought the championship back to Cleveland).
Whether or not they do it, every team wants to beat the Warriors. The Mavs relish in the fact they knocked out the Heat way back when Dirk still had reason to be happy. (Okay, too somber too soon, but you have to feel for the guy.)
The Bucks have the youth movement going with Malcolm Brogdon, the Greek Freak, Jabari Parker, and, when he comes back from injury, Khris ‘Khash Money I’m So Underrated APPRECIATE ME BASKETBALL WORLD’ Middleton. Okay, maybe that middle part was added by me, but still.
The Nets, Lakers, and Sixers, some of the more historic franchises, have been jokes. Articles have been made if college teams could have beaten recent Sixers squads. It’s been that bad.
Yet now, the Sixers trust the Process. (No Sam, go back to unemployment). The Baby Lakers are growing up in a hurry. The Nets have a Pop disciple running the team. They’ll all be just fine.
The list goes on and on.
