4– James Harden – Houston Rockets

Stats: 28.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 11.9 assists, 1.3 steals , 1.3 steals

Record: 11-7

Previous Ranking: 6th

James Harden has put the Rockets on his shoulders, currently he leads the NBA in assists per game. Which is impressive considering he is naturally a shooting guard.

The Rockets are currently in 5th place in the Western Conference. The Rockets have set several records this year revolving around the three-point line. Against the Kings, the Rockets attempted 50 three pointers as a team, setting a new NBA record.

Against the Mavericks, the Rockets broke the NBA record for most consecutive games (17) of making at least 10 three-point field goals.

Will James Harden be able to keep his teammates hot from beyond the arc? Only time will tell as the three-point line  will ultimately decide the fate of the Houston Rockets.
