With the NBA Trade Deadline roughly a week away, we look at 15 Western Conference trades that need to happen before the deadline

While the Bucks and Hornets technically got NBA Trade SZN officially started back on February 2nd, when the Bucks traded Miles Plumlee for Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert, I would say that February 12th really marked the start of Trade SZN.

The Portland Trail Blazers acquired the young, disgruntled big man from Bosnia in exchange for Mason Plumlee (and some change). The move has already received mix reviews around the NBA, but I think it was a good move for both teams.

The Nuggets get rid of a player who was motivated only when it benefitted him; or in others words, when he was starting, even though Jokic is the superior player. They gain an exceptional passing center in Plumlee, and someone that is a way better locker room fit.

The Blazers get a normal-sized center to better handle the rigors of being a center, and that will hopefully re-find his motivation to help Portland get back to the playoffs and justify their crazy spending.

While one real-life trade was analyzed, the real fun is coming up with hypothetical trades that may never happen. If you didn’t read Part One, feel free to catch up by checking it out here.

Without further ado…. it’s Trade SZN.
