As we prepare for NBA All-Star weekend 2017, the SCIC staff sat down and discussed surprises thus far, a few predictions and trades

The 2016-17 NBA All-Star break is here.

Roughly two-thirds into the NBA season, we’ve seen plenty of storylines play out thus far. From the Golden State Warriors dominating, for the most part, the rest of the league behind a determined Kevin Durant to the injury bug biting the Cleveland Cavaliers, there’s still much to be settled in the stretch run of the season.

However, this weekend is for relaxation. Despite all the noise surrounding the league, and the underlying storylines, this is the time to sit back and reset.

In doing so, some of the SCIC staff sat down and discussed surprises, predictions and trades as we head into the NBA All-Star break.
