Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons

Reggie Jackson is a tough one. On one hand, I believe that Stan Van Gundy finally realizes that he should’ve never given big money to Jackson. He’s good; he’s just never going to be THE GUY. That’s pretty clear now.

On the other hand, it would be dumb to punt on Jackson when he’s in the midst of a down season. Compared to where he was last year, combined with the false start to this season because of injury, it’s pretty clear that this is a down season for Jackson.

Jackson is better than he’s played this season. Trading him now wouldn’t make much sense, especially if you’re looking to maximize on your investment. Not smart.
