Power Forward
Anthony Tolliver may not come to mind if someone asked who you’d like to start a franchise with, but he’s one the 4th-best 3PT shooter on the Kings team. He provides that stretch-4 presence many NBA teams are clamoring to find if they don’t have it already. He’s under contract until after next season, so he provides some stability at the position.
Jordan Farmar is technically their leader in that category, but he only played in two games. Collison was already mentioned, and then the next 4 are Afflalo (injured but set to return soon), Tolliver, Casspi (traded as a part of the Boogie deal), and Gay (on IR). Technically Labissiere and Papagiannis are behind Tolliver on the depth chart, but they’ve played in a combined 12 games this season.
They could emerge as viable starting options, and I think they should consider giving them more playing time.
This position probably has the bleakest long-term outlook, but it could be worse. Maybe they’ll make another move at the trade deadline, a smart one like for Terrence Jones? They did make him expendable, so it’s the least they can do(?) (Okay, I tried).
